Governing your Azure environment with Azure Policy

Details
Please join us for the monthly Minnesota Azure User Group meetings!
This month's topic is: Azure Policy
Azure Policy is a critical piece of any large Azure footprint. Through its flexible, conditional language it allows Cloud Administrators to implement controls within their environment. Common scenarios include enforcing security settings, tagging resources, and automatically deploying mandatory secondary resources (i.e. Virtual Machine extensions or diagnostic settings).
See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/policy/overview for details
Chris Eggert is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft with nearly 15 years of experience working on products like Excel, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Resource Manager. His current focus is enforcing API consistency and enhancing governance features within the Azure control plane.
This is an online event.
The meeting format/agenda is as follows:
• MN Azure user group board updates (5 Minutes)
• Azure topic (45-60 Minutes)
• Roundtable discussion/or Lightning talks (15 Minutes if time allows)"
