DM Training Series - Sign-Up Event #2

Please read, important information!

This is NOT a D&D game. This is a Dungeon Master (DM) training session. It does NOT take place on November 30th. This is only a sign-up event to gather interested people and schedule their training sessions.

The format for this will be: 1 experienced DM (Sam) and 2 newbie DMs (you and someone else). Together you will run a short D&D game together. I will provide the story ahead of time so you can look it over. I will simulate player actions and challenges you will face in real games. We'll cover a wide range of topics. It's a very hands-on and collaborative training session. By the end, you will feel more confident in your abilities and have the skills necessary to start running D&D games!

Before signing up for this event, you should have played D&D at least once before so you understand the basics. Besides that, all are welcome and it will be newbie friendly like usual. I want everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed. Estimated length is 2-3 hours. This is not a boring "How to be a DM" presentation. We will be playing a mock game of D&D. It will be a fun and interesting way to learn!

Once you complete this training, you will gain the "Dungeon Master" role in our Discord server. You will also gain access to the private "Dungeon Master" text and voice channels which contain special DM resources and our growing community of supportive DMs. You will also be eligible to join the DM Round Robin events and post events to Meetup.com!
