This is where you start! *New students are only allowed to join within the first two weeks of the month* It is a 4-week course that is required to join Salsa Beginner. You learn the basic footwork, partner work, spins, cross-body lead, and basic musicality. (You can test out by pre-arranging a time to meet with instructor prior to class.) No partner needed. $17 drop in rate, $80 for 5 classes, $150 for 10 classes.

Once you complete Salsa on1 Beginner, you can join the Salsa on1 Intermediate class. This is an on-going class where you already know the Beginner Level footwork, spins and have a good understanding of the musicality. You will learn the next level for spins, crosses, lead/follower partner work, musicality, shines, and general Latin dance technique. You will continue to build your confidence for the social dance floor, and you will have better knowledge of how to add your own personality to your salsa dancing!

New rueda groups start every 3-4 months. Please call the studio if you're interested in joining! Salsa Rueda de Casino- This style of Cuban Salsa involves pairs of dancers who form a circle, with dance moves called out by one person, a caller. Most moves involve the swapping of partners, where the partners move around the circle to the next partner. There are hundreds of "calls" or dance moves and each level of class learns new calls. The combination of elaborate dance combinations and constant movement of partners create a visually spectacular effect.
