Apache Cassandraâ„¢, a distributed NoSQL database well known for its big data scale and disaster tolerance capabilities, offers a log of great features: elastic linear scalability, highest level of performance and the ability to handle millions of queries while keeping petabytes of data.
It is important to remember that such a capacity is a shared responsibility between you and Cassandra - it isn't enough just to launch a cluster, you have to develop a proper data model otherwise the mentioned features may be very limited!
In this workshop we go beyond queries, partitions and tables to see how to design an efficient data model for highly-loaded applications. We will also cover some advanced use-cases and review some real-life examples with you!
