Security: What you can do to protect your WordPress site

Security: What you can do to protect your WordPress site (Session will be led by Lucy Lamp) WordPress sites are often compromised by hackers. Smaller WordPress sites are preferred because they are easy targets. If your site is hacked it can be used to run all kinds of malicious activities, to install malware, send spam, attack other sites and more. There are a number of things you can, and should do to protect your site. In this meetup we'll go over security tactics and 12 basic steps you can take to help secure your WordPress site. WHEN: Thursday January 7, 2021 @ 7 pm WHERE: Zoom (online)
