Hey Everyone - I, Allyson Wehrs, will be stepping down as organizer of this Meetup in August and the meetings may be paused if another organizer can't be found before then. The last meeting I'll be organizing will be July 17th. It's been an amazing year and I'm so grateful you could all attend and get something out of these gatherings! If you are interested in becoming an organizer please contact me by sending me a message here on Meetup.

What’s a travel blogger turned Wordpress developer do on vacation? Go to WordCamp Atlanta, of course.
Atlanta boasts one of the larger WordCamps in the US and with a family
guest room available in town, it makes the trip a phenomenal business
investment. Eileen Schaubert will be sharing highlights of the 2019 Atlanta WordCamp sessions and tips for making the most of WordCamp.
All this to encourage folks to make plans for the upcoming Minneapolis / St Paul WordCamp Aug 22-24. The call for speakers is out and registration will be coming soon.
Group Discussion - What did you learn?
We go around in a circle and share what we learned in WordPress in the last month. All answers are valid and anyone can pass if they want. Sometimes answers are related to peripheral tools that may be used with WordPress and this is completely acceptable.

We are in the Wayman building next to Pizza Luce. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, our office is right across the hall from the elevator. You'll see a Pantheon sticker on the door.
Close to Ramp C. There are a few surface lots nearby, and usually there's metered street parking available on 1st Ave and 4th St after work. We're also close to the Hennepin light rail stop and pretty much any bus route that goes through downtown.

WordPress is a vast community serving the needs of many members. As women who are instrumentally involved in the WordPress community, we formed Women Who WP to address the unique needs that females of all ages experience in a field that is predominantly male. Anyone who RSVPs is welcome to attend Women Who WP events – we are women-inclusive, not gender-exclusive. All attendees are expected to abide by the Women Who WP Code of Conduct.
All job pitches must be pre-approved before the meeting. Please contact the event host.
We are currently looking for co-organizers and sponsors.
