This is primarily a group for musicians who play chamber music. Our monthly meetups are designed for string instruments and C-instrument woodwinds -i.e. flute, oboe, bassoon etc, so be aware of that if you want to participate in those gatherings. If you play violin, piano, cello, flute or oboe, etc and are looking for other musicians to play chamber music, this group is for you. The one requirement for being a member of this group is that you play chamber music - doesn't matter what level as long you play and enjoy it.

Our regular monthly meetups do NOT include music for b-flat instruments (i.e. saxophone, trumpet, clarinet); however, you may join the group for the purpose of finding other musicians to play with, since that is also a purpose of the group.

This is a gathering place for chamber music players of all levels and experience. If you are looking for duet partners or maybe even thinking of starting a quartet, this is a place to connect with others with a similar interest. If you are a beginner, you'll find support and encouragement here, if you're a more advanced player you'll find opportunities to connect with other players at your level. If you're a teacher you may find this a good resource for your students to find other players.

The way this group works is as follows:
You can find and connect with other musicians in several ways -

1) attending one of the monthly 'Go For Baroque' sessions on the group calendar
2) simply browsing through the list of members in the Members tab for this group - you will see members listed with a description under their name of the the instrument(s) they play and the their playing level (for example "VIOLIN(intermediate)"

you can then click on their profile and then send them a message and arrange to meet.
One way to have a first meeting with another member would be to invite them to join you at one of the monthly 'Go For Baroque' sessions.
