Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!

What: Freethought Film: The Nature of Existence at the Parkway, Oct. 2, Minneapolis

When: Saturday, October 2,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Parkway Theater
4814 Chicago Ave
Minneapolis, MN 55407

Time is approximate. Check this space for updates.

We're taking filmmaker Roger Nygard up on his invitation to view his movie The Nature of Existence, and have chosen the October 2nd showing at the Parkway Theatre in Minneapolis, when Mr. Nygard will be offering a Q and A session afterwards. In his own words,

"The film explores existence and the various belief systems around the world, and features many Atheists & Freethinkers, such as: Richard Dawkins, Julia Sweeney, Ann Druyan, Leonard Susskind, etc.

"The movie has been receiving a tremendous amount of support from Atheist, Secular Humanist and Agnostic groups in LA, NY , and Portland. How about hanging out at a nearby pub or cafe after one of the Q & A sessions on 10/2 and making it a meetup event?"

In your RSVP, please let us know if you're interested in getting together after the show, and offer your suggestion for a suitable spot. If we get enough people and a good location, we'll update this Meetup with details.

For the film, we'll gather in the lobby and enter fifteen minutes before the show. Look for your host, who will be wearing his MNA t-shirt and/or holding a sign. Admission is $7.50.
