About us
The Meetup's 2000+ members represent a wide range of ages and skiing/snowboarding abilities. Both singles and couples are welcome. We have both events and trips - the perfect opportunity to meet new friends!
The club is based in New York City, with members from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island, New Jersey, and many other places all around the NY Metropolitan area.
I also use this group to let you know about events run by the Miramar Ski Club, which I am a member of. Joining this group and joining that club are not the same thing. It is a non-profit club, and I don't make any money off of your trips. I do, however, get the opportunity to share my love of skiing (and I am accepting of snowboarders!) with others who share this interest.

RSVP'ing here is just a way of telling other meetup group members that you plan to attend an event, but in the case of trips, you must contact the Event Leader to formally register.

Hudson Highlands Hike with Miramar Ski Club
Metro North Garrison Train Station, 33 Lower Station Road, Garrison, NY, USMostly easy walking on old roads, but with a few steep stretches. To be shortened in case of hot or damp weather.
Hike is limited to 15 people.Return to Grand Central by 5 or 6 PM,
depending on the pace of the group.
Bring: Hiking boots or good walking shoes!
Sunscreen, lunch and snacks. (See warning below!)Minimum 2 quarts of water or sports drink - more if it's hot!
Rain poncho, long pants (tucked into socks) are highly
recommended for ticks, brambles, and possible poison ivy.

Jamaica Bay Bike Loop with Miramar Ski Club
Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway Station, Rockaway Parkway and Glenwood Road, Kings County, NY, USThe Jamaica Bay Greenway Loop is a scenic,
mostly flat 22 mile multi-use recreational path that encircles
Jamaica Bay through parts of Brooklyn and Queens.Terrain is predominately flat paved paths, greenways, and boardwalks with minimal elevation change.
Difficulty is moderate due to length,
though physically accessible for most regular riders.Landmarks include Floyd Bennett Field,
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Rockaway Beach Boardwalk,

Pyramid Mountain Hike with Miramar Ski Club

Northern Morris County, NJ. Plenty of parking.
Well marked trails.Views of Taylortown Reservoir & sightings of
