What we’re about
The Meetup's 3500+ members represent a wide range of ages and skiing/snowboarding abilities. Both singles and couples are welcome. We have both events and trips - the perfect opportunity to meet new friends!
The club is based in New York City, with members from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island, New Jersey, and many other places all around the NY Metropolitan area.
I also use this group to let you know about events run by the Miramar Ski Club, which I am a member of. Joining this group and joining that club are not the same thing. It is a non-profit club, and I don't make any money off of your trips. I do, however, get the opportunity to share my love of skiing (and I am accepting of snowboarders!) with others who share this interest.

RSVP'ing here is just a way of telling other meetup group members that you plan to attend an event, but in the case of trips, you must contact the Event Leader to formally register.

A 75th Anniversary Happens Only Once!So far over 76+ people have signed up,
with more to come. Don't get left out!As a member, or future member of Miramar
you owe it to yourself to celebrate
the Finest Ski Club in the Northeast.Congratulate yourself and your fellow members
for helping to make our ski club so amazing!Miramar is an incredible club with a long history, and we found a venue with even
more history than us. We'll be in the Down Town Association, a private Social Club
since 1859 whose members included Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas E. Dewey
and Grover Cleveland. Join us on May 17, 2024 for Miramar’s annual
end-of-season celebration!Our “SnowBall” is a chance for members and guests to reminisce, get together and share stories of their favorite powder run or heart-pounding steeps or maybe just talk about the good times we had, and the good times to come.
We are so fortunate to have so many great memories. This is also a great opportunity
to plan for upcoming events at the lodge and elsewhere during our “off-season.”
And I’m sure there will be plenty of chatter about next year’s BIG trip too.
Bring a date! Share the love and this happy event!We will start with a cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner (menu coming soon).
And yes there will be a DJ and dancing! This is an elegant venue so leave the ski helmets and goggles at home and dress to impress. Hey, if you want to wear that tux in the back of the closet or that pretty dress you couldn't resist... go for it!Join us at 60 Pine Street (between William & Pearl Streets, 1 block north of Wall Street) go upstairs to the Babcock Room.
