This is an intensive study designed to become familiar with the literary and historical nature of the Bible in terms of its origins, effects and meanings, not only at the time it was written, but also the interpretations imposed on it at various times in history. All are welcome, regardless of your faith, faith tradition or lack of faith. Our purpose is to learn what the Bible says, how it says it, why it says it in the way it does and how this knowledge is useful to us. We are an open-minded and diverse group whose main common trait is an expansive sense of humor. Our only request is that you are courteous and you are willing to participate in the discussions.
