Title: An introduction to machine learning for Microsoft developers.

Abstract: In this session, Richard will recap the basics of machine learning, how to get started using R, and how machine learning fits within the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically with respect to Azure and SQL Server. By the end of the talk, attendees should have a solid understanding of why machine learning is an important skill in today's job market and possess practical tips on how to get started.

Bio: Richard Obuhowich is the founder of 3terra, a small software company in the Greater Toronto Area that specializes in developing web applications and implementing advanced analytical solutions within the healthcare industry.

Abstract: In this session, Ehsan will walk you through basics of containers and deploying ASP.NET Core application with Docker on Linux(Ubuntu). The following topics will be covered:

- How to use a Docker Client.
- What are key Docker client commands.

Bio: Ehsan Eskandari started his career as Oracle Developer 15 years ago after he got his bachelor degree in software engineering. After 5 years of working with Oracle and finishing his master degree in software engineering, he started working as a .NET developer 10 years ago. Since then he achieved a couple of Microsoft certifications in .NET and SQL Server e.g. MCSD, MCPD, MCTS. He has multiple years of experience working with the Microsoft web technology stack in different domains e.g. government, banking, insurance and utility sectors. He has a real passion for ASP.NET Core and Cloud. Recently he started blogging at passionatecoder.ca.

Abstract: In this session, Kumar will provide a quick overview of the wide Big Data Landscape consisting of the following:

Bio: Kumar currently is a Solutions Architect in the Risk Management area of the Banking Industry. He has been a developer for 20 years and has worked with middleware and messaging systems in telecom and financial industries.

Kumar organises "Mississauga Big Data Analytics Meetup", a meetup focussed on learning Big Data Technologies and Machine Learning Algorithms.
