The Battery Gardens Cafe is New York's best kept secret and probably the outdoor bar with the best views from Manhattan! Situated on the southernmost tip of Manhattan in Battery Park, The BGC overlooks New York Harbor, The Statue of Liberty, Governors and Ellis Island. On a clear night you will also be treated to a stunning sunset as tall sail ships glide through the harbor! Join us for a fun and casual evening of conversations and cocktails with other members and friends hosted by NYSN's Dave Cervini. There will also be an option for you to join a specially discounted NY Harbor History Tour aboard the Staten Island Ferry.
Here's the deal:
-We will have a spacial home base table set up on the patio beginning at 6pm.
-We will have fun ice breaker games and prizes.
-Music is played at conversational levels
-The are no drink specials (sorry) but the drinks are reasonably priced and the views are worth it!
-They have a really good menu if you are hungry
-At 7:45pm you will have the opportunity to join Dave on the Staten Island Ferry for a cool history tour of New York Harbor that covers, the history of NYC, Governors Island, Staten Island, The Statue of Liberty and more!
-If you don't go on the tour stay and enjoy the sunset! The tour group will be back at 9:30pm
Dave will be on hand with info for events coming up in the Fall.
Please arrive by 7:30pm if you wish to join the ice breakers.
Can I come alone? Yes 98% of those attending will likely register on their own but you are invited to bring as many guests as you would like (just make sure to register for that amount)
Dress Code: Business casual
How will I find the group? We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event.
What if it rains? We will send updates to all who preregistered with alternate plans.
