Building a Mobile App for Android and iOS - Part 1 - Talk & Open Lab

We will practice building a mobile app that display's Rockville Science Center's calendar of events from Meetup.com

We will use Ionic, a mobile framework that allows the same app to run on Android, iOS, and Windows.

This will leverage Node.js, and Angular.js.

We plan on trying to get this app on the App Store, so this is the real deal. Almost every business can benefit from their own app now. We will break the effort out over a few talks. This first talk will look largely at planning, design, and setting up the development environment.
