We are digging into the Ionic code base to begin creating a calendar and event notification app (that display's Rockville Science Center's calendar of events from Meetup.com)

At this talk, we will be working directly with the Meetup.com API to grab events for the RSC, and display them as cards, and calendar entries.

This is a multi-part series on using Ionic, a mobile framework that allows the same app to run on Android, iOS, and Windows.

This will leverage Node.js, and Angular.js.

We plan on trying to get this app on the App Store, so this is the real deal. Almost every business can benefit from their own app now. We will break the effort out over a few talks.
