Special guest speaker Steve Milligan will give a talk on using commercially available devices just for neural networks and similar processing.

Running AI algorithms on local devices versus in the cloud offers various benefits such as immediate response, enhanced reliability, increased privacy, and efficient use of network bandwidth.

A variety of platforms are offered by NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Intel and others to facilitate delivery of AI/ML/DL at the network edge. This talk will provide an overview of several available platforms leading to a brief discussion about what they can and cannot do.

This is our last talk before the holidays and we will have a few weeks off.
