KO-SU training workshop: Come and create your own mobile tests and challenges

During this workshop, you will get the chance to get set up on the KO-SU platform, create your own mobile activities, and then invite other participants and colleagues to complete your challenges.

You will learn to work with the two essential components of the KO-SU platform :

(i) Online creation and publishing portal

The KO-SU website (www.ko-su.com (http://www.ko-su.com/)) is where you will create and publish your activities. Interactive activities are created from templates that support text, images, audio, videos, multiple choice, free text questions and even drawing tasks. KO-SU’s activity creation module is unique in its user experience, because it immediately will shows you how your activities will be seen on the mobile as you input your content.

For those without a smart phone, we have also built a smart phone simulator on the website itself, where they can complete the activities. Thus, anyone can participate in KO-SU provided they have connectivity, power and a device (mobile or PC).

(ii) Mobile app for completing activities

Through the KO-SU mobile app, a participant/student can receive all their activities regardless of who the ‘teacher’ is on their mobile devices.

Following on from the workshop, there will be refreshments and nibbles and you are welcome to stay to our scheduled Mobile Learning Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/MobileLearning/) with speaking slots from teachers, trainers, app developers and businesses on current milestones in mobile learning, content and educational mobile apps.

Please remember to bring along your laptop as it is essential for a hands on experience.
