To start Just Hum, a local start up, will be talking about their app Hum. Hum combines note-taking and audio recording into single app for capturing and organizing all your songwriting ideas.

For the second half there will be a discussion on scoping mobile app projects led by a panel of experts in mobile. Please bring your thoughts and questions!

Here's some background information on our panel:

Courtney Deer

With a background in both new business and UX design, Courtney Deer has spent many a year perfecting the balance of setting parameters without preemptively murdering creativity. She's contributed case studies for both the FWA's The App & Mobile Case Study Book and Andy Pratt's Interactive Design: An Introduction to the Theory and Application of User-Centered Design. Former Director of New Business and Strategy at Sevnthsin, current Senior UX Designer at Modern Climate, avid 90's pop culture enthusiast.

John Harasyn

In his three years at space150, John’s ownership has set the bar working with clients such as Buffalo Wild Wings, American Express, Land Securities, ReSound, Buildium, 3M, Hallmark, and BI Worldwide. As a Senior Account Manager specializing in mobile and process development, John represents the space150 team as a day-to-day client contact, ensuring projects are on schedule and on budget. He also helps in facilitating clients to adopt space150’s future forward thinking and navigating the uncertainty of digital product development with the space creative and development team. John graduated from the W.P Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a BA in Management, with focus on supply chain processes.

Matt Pacyga

Matt Pacyga is the VP of Business Development for Myriad Mobile which develops native applications for iOS, Android and Windows. Matt has over 5 years of experience working with mobile applications, discovery processes (UX, UI, Wireframing and other fancy acronyms), scoping projects before they happen and emerging mobile technologies such as Sensus.

Kurt McIntire

Kurt McIntire is Co-Founder of Vektor Digital, a Minneapolis mobile development shop. They specialize in native iOS apps and custom iBeacon implementations.
