To kick off the event, our guest host, Eduardo Madariaga, will give a 20 - 30 minute presentation on QA metrics.

Metrics has become one of the most popular terms when talking about team introspection, especially in the software industry. So much so that a new term "Vanity metrics" has appeared to refer to metrics that stand for... well nothing really!

In this session, we'll go over what they are supposed to be and how to use them. In particular, ways of tailoring them to make sure your development team makes it on time! Software development is a fast paced & slow tailoring kind of process and you can quickly get sidetracked to thinking that you will make it: only to end up with weeks of Bug Fixing and months of O&M. Is there a better way?

After the presentation, we will open the floor to any questions or discussions on the topic.
