New Meetup: "Haunting Expressions"

From: Thomas "Tommy" M.

Announcing a new Meetup for Models, Makeup Artists and Photographers Meetup!

What: "Haunting Expressions"

When: November 1,[masked]:00 AM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

This is a photo challenge, or Virtual Meetup, that does not require you to meet with other group members, although members are certainly welcome to get together for it! Take the opportunity during this Halloween season to make photographs with the theme "Haunting Expressions." Think of good locations, such as cemeteries, back rooms, alleys, dusty woods, smiledeserted areas, etc., or even Halloween parties. Your photos can be eerie, mysterious, or even funny--it's up you! One requirement is that all photographs must include a model (or at least a person who could be considered a model!)

Ideally the photos should be made between now and Halloween, but if you can't make new photos, please share some you already have!

Make-up artists and hair stylists are especially encouraged to participate in this project!

After Halloween night you can post up to ten photos in the photo section for this Meetup which will be automatically created on Nov. 1--I'll upload a file with more specific directions. The idea is to get out there and shoot and get creative. You may want to try special effects such as motion blur, panning, slow-sync flash, or other special lighting techniques.

Let me know if you have any questions, and go have a ghoulish good time!
