We encourage you to plan and post events here as a great way to bring our community together! This is a great an opportunity to meet others and build casual-to-meaningful friendships within the LGBTQ community. We are looking for hosts and co-hosts who are exited to present a variety of events and fun LGBT related events. We would love for this group to be interactive by sharing each others interests, which will help create events within the Meetup group. Those who are interested in participating can express their interest and connect with that event. Please join and help us connect with your friends to bring their interests into the group. If you need inspiration for costumes or campsite decorations, there are lots of Ren Faire videos on social media. We're really looking forward to experiencing everyone's creativity, from historically accurate to fantasy to folklore!
Kampout's 46th annual event starts Friday, September 11 and ends Sunday, September 13. Kampers are welcome to arrive one day early for an additional fee of $10 per person. The total cost for arriving on Thursday is $70 per person ($60 event registration + $10 early arrival). There is no agenda for Thursday, just come up and relax before the festivities kick off.
For this year's event we are implementing a new policy regarding early arrival and tent setup. For kampers arriving on Thursday who wish to setup additional tents for friends who have not yet arrived, there will be a $10 fee for each additional tent.
If you haven't already done so, please submit your PTO requests as soon as possible. It breaks our hearts when kampers aren't able to attend because of PTO timing issues, and you won't want to miss this year's event!1 attendee
