What we're about

Just a book club - no twist - except the idea is to have a club for moms and dads, especially those with small children. No exclusivity intended, anyone can join, but since readers are free to bring along their little ones, everyone should please be prepared to tolerate any of the expected chaos, interruption, tears and tantrums. Also, the point of *short* fiction is to anticipate a group of sincere but time and attention restricted readers. Brothers Karamazov is not on my list of books to propose, for the moment. Also, the theme is Russian short fiction, but meetings will be held in English or French. The idea is to plan something for the new year, so I'm sending this message now to get an idea of who and how many could be interested. I might plan something at my place or seek out another suitable venue, depending on level of interest. Finally, while children would be welcome, parents would each be responsible for the child(ren) they bring. No baby-sitting service would be provided. Look forward to hearing back!
