What we're about

Welcome to the MOMS Club of Sumner-Bonney Lake! We are a local chapter of the international non-profit support group. We provide an opportunity for you to meet new moms, get and share advice, learn about your community, and enjoy fun activities for your children and for yourself. Nationally, the MOMS Club has over 2,000+ chapters and 100,000 members.

To be added to our meet-up group please answer all profile questions and post a picture of yourself, this is for identification purposes and the safety of the group. Prospective members may be a part of this meet-up for up to 30 days and may attend 2 public events to see if our group is a fit. If you decide this is the group for you, we will ask you to complete a membership form and pay the yearly dues. The cost is $25.00 per year which helps with administration fees, service projects, international dues and more! After 30 days you must turn in your membership and pay the dues or you will be removed from the meet-up site (again, for the protection of MOMS Club). We look forward to meeting you soon!

Playgroups: We have small age based playgroups that meet weekly in each others homes. This is a great opportunity to get to know people in a smaller setting.

Activity Calendar : We have a full calendar of activities including berry picking, pumpkin patch tours, themed playdates, morning coffee gatherings, park and library outings, holiday parties, museum trips and more!

MNO: We have a mom’s night out once a month (generally child-free). It is a great opportunity for just the moms to get together, and take a break from life for a few hours. Mom’s night out can be as simple as game night at someone’s house, a friendly game of bowling, a movie, dinner, or a craft night.

Business Meetings: We get together to discuss current events in our club, vote on important decisions, occasionally listen to a speaker, and gather for social visits and fun. Often there is a themed craft or activity for the kids.

Service Projects: Because the MOMS Club is a non-profit organization, each year we do service projects that give back to our community and benefit families, or children in some way.

Support Services: We recognize there can come a time when moms need a little extra help. Our Sunshine committee coordinates temporary support for members including, meals, help with domestic chores, emergency transportation, childcare, or simply someone to listen.

Facebook Group: Members have access to our private facebook group. This is a great place to ask questions, find community information, post last-minute playdates, share pictures, and get to know other members.

For the success of the club, and to ensure that long lasting friendships develop we encourage ALL members to attend events regularly (especially the club meetings), join a playgroup, help fill the activity calendar and volunteer for one of our committees.
