What's Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is a month-long global celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean in partnership with Intel, AppWrite, and DeepSource, with a strong focus on encouraging contributions to open source projects.

Do I get a prize for participating?

If you're a developer, aside from the knowledge you’ll gain, (and the fun you’ll have) you can earn a limited-edition Hacktoberfest t-shirt or have a tree planted in your name by Tree-Nation. Check more details in: https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/faq

IMPORTANT

If you're planning to come, please register for the event so we can provide your name to the reception for allowing you in on the event day.

Thanks!
