🎙️ Summer Projects 2026: What we learned & built together
·OnlineOnlineSummer Projects 2026: Closing & Sharing what we built
After 3 months of open collaboration, we’re wrapping up Summer Projects 2026 with a hybrid session as part of Summer Camp.
This meetup is a space to share learnings, progress, and next steps from the two open-source projects the community has been working on since November focused on learning, contribution, and experimentation.
Projects we’ll cover:
🎥 Real-time MoQ Project
An open collaboration focused on exploring Media over QUIC (MoQ) by building reusable, modular components that help reduce adoption friction and enable real-time and low-latency video experiences.
Tech Sponsors: Mike English & Luke Curley
🤖 AI Co-Pilot for Multimedia Archives
A research-driven project exploring how AI can help make large, fragmented media archives (starting with SMPTE materials) more searchable, contextual, and accessible through responsible, open-source approaches.
Tech Sponsor: Andy Beach
We're proud that some contributors and guests to the summer camp will be participating in person in Montevideo!
