Speaker:
Milton Huang. Milton is a former psychiatrist and EEG analyst who now codes Amazon Alexa skills and explores natural language interfaces.

Abstract:
This talk will explore word embeddings: representing textual data in a multidimensional space that allows us to find geometric relationships between words. We will talk about how this model gives us relationships between words and meaning, specifically using the word2vec algorithm. I will demonstrate how to run it on a corpus and look at the results in real time.

We will assume a basic understanding of neural networks.
