Garden of Lights San Diego Botanic Gardens
December 1– 23 and 26 – 30 5 – 8:30 pm Admission Prices Start at 4 pm No Access to Hamilton Children’s Garden after 4:30 pm during Garden of Lights San Diego Botanic Garden’s Annual Gift to the San Diego Community After the sun goes down, parts of the Garden are transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland with over 125,000 sparkling lights illuminating the Garden for a magical holiday experience! Festive holiday activities abound including sledding, holiday crafts, marshmallow roasting, food trucks, hot mulled wine, beer and refreshments, as well as visits with Santa (Dec. 1 – 23) and horse-drawn wagon rides (Dec. 14 – 23 & 26 – 30). Enjoy great live entertainment every single night from 6 – 8 pm! Garden of Lights, from December 1 – 23 & 26 – 30, is the San Diego Botanic Garden’s annual gift to the San Diego Community. Garden of Lights has events and activities that everyone in your family will enjoy. Nightly entertainment, including local blues and jazz bands, as well as delicious food from Isaacs Catering, and hot coffee and treats from the Feel Good Coffee Cart, will be available. Numerous family-friendly activities are also part of the festivities including: · Holiday Crafts · Spin Art · Marshmallow Roasting · Visits with Santa (through Dec 23) · Hot Mulled Wine (on selected evenings) · Snow for sledding (on selected evenings) · Beer (on selected evenings) · Nutcracker display · Live entertainment – every night! · Food Trucks Unique plant-related gift items will be on sale at our Gift Shops for the plant lovers in your life. Cork purses, garden-themed jewelry, hats, aprons, candles, and garden art are all available. As well as winter plants, ready to enhance your holiday garden.
