What we're about

This is a monthly meetup (one Saturday afternoon each month) for anyone who has had a personal cancer journey and is interested in coming together to share their yoga practice and then have an afternoon tea as a community. The meet up consists of a 1.5 hour gentle yoga class led by a 500 hour trained yoga teacher with her own cancer journey, followed by 1 hour for tea and chatting.
Anyone who has had a personal cancer journey is welcome to join in, whether your journey is fresh and active or one that rests in the past. All levels of yoga experience and non-experience are welcome.

If you are interested in joining but not up for the physical part of the practice for any reason (treatment related or otherwise), you are still welcome to come and join us on the mat. I can set you up in some restorative poses or you can spend some time in meditation or connecting with your breath or you can just come from tea time (16:00-17:00). PROVIDED FOR YOU: The studio is stocked with yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, and blankets that you are welcome to use. Tea and honey will be provided, and possibly snacks, should MB have time to bake or shop.
