What we're about

There is growing demand for high-productivity and low-code platforms that accelerate application development, for both citizen developers and professionals alike. This demand is driven by the need for tighter collaboration across IT and business teams, as well as to simplify staffing developer teams.

Gartner defines a citizen developer as a user who creates new business applications for consumption by others using development and runtime environments sanctioned by corporate IT.

The Microsoft Power Platform is a suite of citizen development tools -- including Flow, PowerApps, and PowerBI -- designed to work together and empower everyone across your business to quickly and easily build custom apps, automate workflows to improve business productivity, and analyze data for insights—no matter their technical expertise.

This user group is intended for the following audiences:

• Power Users who want to build applications for themselves and their teams using the Power Platform.

• Business Professionals who want to design, build, and administer solutions using the Power Platform.

• Line of Business Developers who want to develop controls, connectors, and other add-ons for Power Platform users and focus on more innovative challenges.

• Executive Management who want to empower Citizen Developers within their organizations to help lessen the burden on the IT department, and allow IT to focus on the "bigger picture"

Our goal is for everyone to share their experiences in building no-code/low-code solutions, have open conversations with like-minded individuals who face similar challenges within their organizations and to help provide thought leadership to future Citizen Developers.

Together, we want to empower everyone to take part in a digital transformation!
