MTM#80: Entrepreneurs Open Mic Night / End of Lockdown Social

Now that the lockdown has ended, Morris Tech Meetup is ready to host face-to-face social networking, pizza, beer and an Entrepreneurs Open Mic Night!

Thursday, July 22, 2021. 6:30pm - 9:30pm

This event will be held outdoors at the Cromwell Hills Pool Patio at 18 Weathervane Drive in Morristown NJ 07960. We're looking forward to seeing old friends and welcome new members and hope you come out and join us for a great night of networking with our tech and entrepreneurial community.

While most of the evening will be for you to network with each other, catch up after 18 months away and enjoy some pizza and beer, we are adding an opportunity to hear some great entrepreneurial stories.

For those who wish to participate, we will be having an ENTREPRENURIAL OPEN MIC NIGHT!

We'd love to hear, as it relates to your entrepreneurial ventures:

• Best stories of overcoming a challenge
• Worst/funniest client interactions
• Absolute luckiest moment that had an oversized great outcome
• Greatest pivot stories
• Funniest interview stories
• Any business idea presented directly to you that you were completely wrong (something you thought was bad and ended up making millions/billions)
• Any other interesting story? Bring it!

Give us your 2-minute tale of your greatest challenge, victory and even your most embarrassing moment as a startup founder. We can all learn from each other.

(At the beginning of the evening, the pool is still open to pool members, but closes shortly thereafter. We have the patio reserved and will have the event on the grounds there. We can enjoy our event anywhere on the property, but are not allowed to go in the pool. This is not a pool party)

(While we will offer beer, if you choose to bring your own drinks, you cannot bring glass bottles or any glasses to drink. Everything must be in non-glass containers, other than wine. If you bring wine, the bottles must be enjoyed away from the pool)
