This week I want you to bring me some MUSIC for a change. Songs like:
-- Unchained MELODY
-- I Whistle A Happy TUNE
-- RHYTHM Of The Rain
-- Bang The DRUM All Day
-- PIANO Man
-- UKULELE Lady
You get the idea. And of course as always you can also be a ukulele rebel and bring us any off-theme song you like.

You’ll find plenty of on-theme songs in our "official" MUJ dropbox at:

But you can send any song you like (preferably as PDFs) to
MorristownUkeJam@gmail.com, and I’ll drop them into our THIS-WEEK JAM directory, created for this event, here:

TAKE NOTE: The "official" start time for playing will be 7 pm; but the host will be online from 6:30 on to welcome and chat with any early-comers.

SECOND NOTE: Our first round will be for PLAYALONGS only, from those who have sent me song sheets. If you have a song you want to play for us and don't have any song sheet to post, I'm sure we'll love it - but it'll need to wait for the second round.

THIRD NOTE: If it's possible, I'm confident you'll enjoy this event more if you have TWO screens to work from, one for the video conference and one to bring up the song sheet.

This is just a JAM, so there's no songbook; but you do get bonus points if you follow the theme. If you're a beginner and you just know one song (or three), DON'T be thinking you're not good enough to lead us. Believe you me, if you bring an easy song, HALF of the folks attending will be so, so, so glad you did.

Here’s how it’ll work:
• You click on the event link below. (Yes, you’ll be asked to click to download Zoom if you don’t have it; it won’t take long.) You’ll appear in our very own version of The Brady Bunch / Hollywood Squares. I.e., the camera on your laptop will help you join us online.

• When the time comes to play a song, our host will MUTE everyone except the person leading. If it's a playalong, you can bring up the song sheet and follow the leader.

• First round: The host will go down a list of participants who have sent song sheets that are now in that week's Jam directory.

• Second round: Anyone can bring us anything they like, whether it’s a second playalong or perhaps something you just want to perform for us.
