What we're about

Semi-monthly events and year-round Saturday community gardening at Aptus Teaching Landscape and Mossie Park (south-west of Dufferin & Wilson). With funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the significant support of the Weston Family Parks Challenge, the Aptus Teaching Landscape offers an accessible greenspace with berry and vegetable gardens, orchard, greenhouse, and public washrooms. Mossie Park offers a splashpad, playground and shaded seating.

What's happening?

Semi-monthly events include movie nights, holiday festivities and Earth Day planting. Saturday community gardening runs over the summer and fall. The heated greenhouse welcomes all on Saturdays in the winter and spring. Come and plant, learn or just relax. Students can be recognized for any drop-in gardening/greenhouse volunteering hours. Seniors and youth-focused programs will be launching in the spring.
