What we're about

Meet the Mothers of Real Estate, AKA“MORE”!

Welcome! We’re Gillian Irving, Monika Jazyk and Rachel Oliver. Together, in a few short years, collectively we’ve put together over $100 million in real estate deals across Ontario.

We’re not just movers and shakers in Greater Toronto Area's vibrant real estate investing community. We’re busy and devoted moms who’ve had to overcome unique personal challenges and major setbacks. In fact, that is what drove us to become real estate investors. All while balancing kids, careers, family and finances.

Our mission is to educate, connect and help moms, dads and anyone who is interested in becoming a confident real estate investor.

March 2016 we launched the MORE community. We’ll be hosting regular meetups to help mothers (and others) discover how real estate investing can fit with your life and help you create wealth and prosperity for your family. You can learn MORE at http://www.MothersOfRealEstate.com .

We look forward to meeting you at the next MORE meetup. Be sure to RSVP.

In the mean time, here’s a bit MORE information about Monika, Gillian and Rachel.

Monika Jazyk, Buy-Rent-Hold Expert

Monika Jazyk , a mother of four and a Real Estate Investment Specialist, chose to stay home with her four children for the past 11 years, sacrificing income of a full time wage. To create monthly income and fund immediate and future expenses for her four children, Monika and her husband Vaughan chose real estate as an investment vehicle to build passive income and long term wealth. They have created a successful real estate portfolio consisting of Buy-Rent-Hold properties, allowing Monika to stay home to raise her 4 children while assuring all of their immediate and future needs are met. They are also the owners of Real Property Investments, a Real Estate Investment Corporation that helps “Real people build Real wealth through Real Estate”. Connect with Monika through http://www.realpropertyinvestments.co or email info@rpinvestments.ca

Rachel Oliver, Rent-to-Own Expert

Rachel Oliver is an active real estate investor, international best-selling author, speaker and coach. Determined to escape the rat race, Rachel found financial freedom with the Rent to Own strategy because she wanted to be an investor not a landlord. She is co-founder of Clover Properties, a real estate investment company best known for helping investors generate passive income and profit with purpose and integrity. Rachel and her husband have put together over 100 Rent to Own investment deals across Ontario and have helped numerous investors grow their portfolio to include profitable Rent to Own income properties. Rachel lives north of Toronto, Ontario with her two amazing daughters, husband and business partner, affectionately known as "Mr. No". Gillian Irving, Student Rental Expert

Gillian likes to say she was an “accidental investor”, buying a duplex in downtown Toronto in 2009 with little planning or preparation. Luck was on her side though, and she was able to ride the value up and refinance to get capital to keep growing. At that point, she wasn’t going rely on luck and an “H&P” (hope & pray) strategy if she wanted to leave her job and provide long-term financial security for her disabled son and three other children. Gillian became a serious student of real estate investing and combined what she learned with her professional skills as a market research analyst to purchase a sizable portfolio in Southern Ontario. Today, Gillian is a full time investor and entrepreneur, focused on student rental investing with joint venture partners. She currently divides her time between growing her student rental business and operating the 35,000 square foot Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Whitby, Ontario. Connect with Gillian through InvestInStudentRentals.com (http://investinstudentrentals.com) or email gillian@gillianirving.com
