This meetup helps promote mindfulness through movement, offering classes in yoga, mindful walking, and different mediation techniques that help practitioners transition from movement into stillness.  If you tried sitting meditation and struggled to remain focused and sill, “Moving Harmony” is for you.  If you have a strong sitting practice, our classes and activities will help you go even deeper by enhancing your ability to relax and stabilize your mind and body.

Various courses and events are offered on a regular basis; please join to receive announcements.

If you have questions, please contact Polina at  You can also find out more on Polina's website,

About the instructor:

POLINA RIKOUN is dedicated to life-long learning and teaching, and has worked in higher education for many years. She was led to yoga and meditation by her desire to relieve work-related stress for herself and others, and to help her students function at peak capacity in the demanding university setting. She studied yoga, meditation, and Reiki with various organizations and schools, including the Usui Reiki Lineage, Dharma Ocean Foundation, the Amrit Yoga Institute in Florida, and Well Heart Yoga School in Maine.  She is now pursuing advanced Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training with Phoenix Rising Yoga.  She is constantly inspired by people who have used yoga and meditation to overcome their individual challenges, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, and addiction, and to begin living their innermost truth.
