1,2,3 DevOps using Microsoft DevOps - with Florian Rappl!
With the recent rebranding of Microsoft’s Team Foundation Service to, not Visual Studio Online, not Visual Studio Team Services but finally DevOps, more things than just the name and the appearance changed. In this session we look at the solution to see what is offered, how we can use it, and what new features are available. To avoid dull marketing slides we take a sample project and try to illustrate the established as well as some of the newer features in an interactive session. In particular, we’ll go over the classic areas (now named "Boards", "Repos", "Pipelines", "Test Plans" and "Artifacts") and also look at interesting extensions with, e.g., GitHub. We’ll round up the session with a glance at automation using the DevOps API. AGENDA • 18:00 - Doors open - event starts! • 18:30 - Florian Rappl will guide us through Microsoft Azure DevOps • 19:30 - Questions / Discussion with Florian • 20:00 - End of event, let's have a drink!

    What we're about

Calling out all .NET ninjas, professionals, amateurs or even students!

As of 2018-08-01, a new alliance makes the .NET community here in Munich even stronger! From now on München .NET Meetup will be the new home of .NET Developer Group München (
    https://www.munichdot.net/)!

We will continue with the successful recipe of "our .net community" where everyone is both a student and a teacher, the recipe of a collective intelligence that both groups loved to follow!

As always, our aim will continue to be a deep understanding of all .NET technologies (web, desktop, cloud, mobile, core, etc) and the tools we programmers use to successfully write our solutions! We want to learn by sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences, and by writing solutions for real life problems.

We hope our "hands on" meetups will flourish with ideas, knowledge and creativity!
