Dear JavaScript, Node.js and robotics enthusiasts,

The 25th of July is the world-wide NodeBots day: .

Normally, software for robots is written in C, C++ or Python. However, JavaScript is widely used for building interactive systems and for network related programming. That makes the language interesting for robotics too, as you can see from this library:

The plan for this meetup is to introduce you to basic robot control (how to move? how to get user inputs? how to talk to a network?) with JavaScript and the following open-source DIY robotics platform: .

The event is a joint meetup between Arduino and Munich Robotics Enthusiasts and will be held on the 25th of July from 14:00 to 18:00 at MuMaLab (Baierbrunner Str. 28, 81379 München).

Hope to see a lot of you there!

Please give us a sign of interest as early as possible to let us better prepare required hardware.
