Mundo Lingo Language Exchange / Échange des Langues (free/gratuit):

We´re a group of people from a variety of different countries that meet once a week to chat, meet new people and practice speaking another language.

On est un groupe de gens de partout au monde qui se rassemble pour une bonne soirée, pour pratiquer des langues, pour connaitre du nouveau monde et bien sûre pour s’amuser.

When you arrive at the bar you'll find us at one of the tables giving out flag stickers to stick to your clothes.
The idea is that you put the flag that represents your native language at the top and the languages you want to practice below in order of ability, the weakest being at the bottom.
From there it's easy: everyone can mingle and talk amongst each other. You'll see that, even if you're on your own, someone will come up to you and introduce themselves or invite you to talk with them. We hope that later you´ll do the same for others.
Everyone talks in small groups with the subject and language of their choice. You can stick to the same group or chat a little and move on to meet more people.
Remember, everybody is there to do the same thing so it's a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The meeting happens on the third floor of the bar. The flag tables are on the second floor (restaurant level), just before the door leading up and dow stairs. The reception is from 7pm.

When you arrive just ask at the bar or look at the back for the table with the flags. If you're shy, send us an email in advance!

- Please remember the bar is a public place and you are responsible for your personal belongings.

Costs: None, it’s free! (It is usually a $2 coatcheck on winter season)

Quand vous arrivez au bar, vous allez nous trouver à une table prêts à vous donner les drapeaux auto-collants que vous allez coller sur vous-même.
L’idée c’est de mettre le drapeau qui represente votre langue maternelle en haut et les langues que vous aimeriez pratiquer en dessous en ordre décroissant de votre capacité , la langue la plus faible serait en bas.
Delà c’est très facile: tout le monde se parle et se côtoie. Vous allez voir que meme si vous arrivez seul, quelqu’un va vous approcher et se presenter et on espère que plus tard vous allez faire pareil pour d’autres.
Tout le monde se parle en petit groupe avec le sujet de conversation et la langue de leur choix. Vous pouvez rester avec le même groupe ou échanger un peu et faire le tour du bar pour connaitre plus de gens.

On se rejoint au deuxième étage du bar. Les tables avec les drapeaux sont au premier étage, just avant les escaliers. La réception est depuis le 19hs.

Quand vous arrivez vouz pouvez demander au bar pour Mundo Lingo ou vous pouvez chercher la table avec les petit drapeaux. Si vous êtes timide, envoyez un mail en avance!
