We are incredibly happy to announce our next Meetup on April 25th at b.telligent.
Format:
- 2 talks (each ca. 40 min incl. discussion)
- Time for networking + food + drinks before, in between and after the presentations
- Talks are held in English
- We will be taking photos and/or film footage at the event. These will be used to share news about our meetups and to publicize upcoming events.
The lineup:
First talk:
Moritz Münst - Representation Learning for Anomaly Detection
Bio:
Moritz is a Senior Data Scientist and Team-Lead at b.telligent, focusing his consulting work on data efficient modelling, time series data and neural networks. Before joining b.telligent 4 years ago, he was working on the localization and the grasping stack of Magazino's perception driven robots. After work he is messing around with all kinds of technology like 3D printing, microcontrollers, hydroponics, virtual reality, and computer games. (Though since the birth of his daughter there is so little time for that…)
Abstract
will talk about the application of representation learning specifically for anomaly detection in time series data. The focus will be on on early detection of damages in large gearboxes, used, e.g., in cement mills. He will highlight the business context, methodology used, and present results of a PoC implementation
Second talk:
Dr. Alexandre Moritz - Graph Neural Networks: An introduction and examples of applications
Abstract:
Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) are a type of Neural Networks designed to process graph-structured data. GNNs specialize in handling complex relationships and dependencies present in graphs In this presentation, we will explore the fundamental concepts behind GNNs, their types, and practical applications.
Bio:
Alexandre is a Senior Data Scientist working at KAI GmbH a subsidiary of Infineon. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science and Microelectronics.
