PITCHING - Dragons' Den meets Entrepreneurial Story Telling

This Event will have two halves to it which should be valuable and enjoyable for everyone attending:

First Half -

Dragons' Den - is a popular BBC TV Series where Entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors (the Dragons) - they may receive an investment to fulfill their dream, or go home in tears but having learnt a lot about what they need to do next! We will have a panel of Dragons and we are looking for 5 wannabee Startup Founders who would like the opportunity to pitch their idea/business to the Dragons. You can pitch as a single person or as a group and you will be strictly limited to five minutes. Ofcourse, everyone else at the event will be watching you!

If you want to apply to pitch to the Dragons, send us a one pager describing your idea / business to janrkennedy@gmail.com by July 20th 12.00 Noon. Their is a very cool startup prize waiting for the winner & the feedback will be invaluable.

Second Half -

Entrepreneurial Story Telling - We will host a workshop for everyone attending which will train you in some very powerful communication techniques. These techniques can be applied to developing the marketing/PR/Comms strategy of your new startup idea. For the workshop, we will provide you with the business idea and the Dragon's will help coach you through the process.
