Any Muslim or Jew that would like to really get to know each other. News claims we are enemies and no decent human being has enemies. Our two religions are closest to each other. Here we can cross boundaries and make friends with the 'other side".

Being a member of this group there will be a few rules:

1. No politics

2. No discussion of Israel or Palestine (rule 1)

3. Do discuss anything else

4. Make friends and have fun!!!!

Help the food bank

Houston Food Bank

Help process food and other items at the Houston Food Bank. Please sign in with the group sign in sheet and pick up a volunteer sticker. It will list Muslim Jewish Friendship group. You may bring a child between 6 and 18 with a signed consent form from the food bank. Please wear closed toe shoes for safety. They have a drinking fountain. Houston Food Bank 535 Portwall St. Houston, TX[masked] Directions to our warehouse If you are on I-10 heading East and away from downtown Houston, exit on Gellhorn, the last exit before the 610 East Loop. At Gellhorn, turn left under the freeway, then left onto the I-10 East feeder heading west, or back toward Downtown. Portwall is the first street on the right. Look for directional signs on the feeder. If you are on I-10 heading West or toward downtown Houston, you'll pass the 610 East Loop, then exit on McCarty, the first exit after the Loop. At McCarty, make a U-turn and head up the I-10 feeder to the intersection with Gellhorn. At Gellhorn, turn left under the freeway, then left onto the I-10 East feeder heading west, or back toward Downtown. Portwall is the first street on the right. Look for directional signs on the feeder.
