🛥Offshore Fishing looking for crew leaving from Pine Island Date TBA

Date and time to be announced. RSVP if interested and lets talk and plan a day that works for the group. call me at[masked] Click here to see our Calendar of events. https://www.meetup.com/My-Fishing-Friend/events/Calendar I just returned from New Zealand where I live 6 months of the year. Here in Florida I have a 24 foot Albemarle offshore fishing boat docked on Pine Island. I'm looking for some crew who are serious about fishing offshore (last year we caught some large amberjack, cobia, gag grouper and red grouper using fairly light tackle and some special gear available in N.Z. that I shipped to Florida. There is a toilet and cabin and I have years of experience running boats in Montauk New York and New Zealand. If you know of some sensible crew who would like to fish please let me know. We all share expenses for the trip including me, and everyone is expected to help clean the boat when we return to the dock. I do have a lot of extra gear on board for a serious novice, but anything lost or broken has to be reimbursed. Tight lines, you can also call me at[masked] Bruce boat name is Fintastic-Tales

Fly Fishing in Swedish (Travel Trip) July 16th

Needs a location

Fly Fishing under the Midnight Sun in Swedish Lapland When: July 16-24, 2019 Where: Mountains around Kvikkjokk/Padjalenta/Sarek National Parks, Sweden. Closest airport: Luleå (Kallax), Sweden Click here to see our Calendar of events. https://www.meetup.com/My-Fishing-Friend/events/Calendar Fly Fishing experience: Beginner to expert. Location: Kvikkjokk, Norrbottens Län, Sweden Join Saveur the Journey for a Fly Fishing Adventure to the land of the Midnight Sun in Swedish Lapland. Experience the unique beauty of Sweden above the Arctic Circle as we fly fish the pristine rivers and lakes from remote cabins, accessed by helicopter. Professional fly fishing guides will teach beginners or help seasoned anglers stalk the plentiful brown trout, Arctic char, and Arctic grayling. Experience Lapland as we hike through stunning scenery, drink water straight from the rivers, eat reindeer steaks and moose burgers, enjoy the cold of beer after a wood-fired Swedish sauna, and lose ourselves in the spontaneity of endless daylight in nature. 9 days, 8 nights. What is and isn't included: The price does not include airfare, trip insurance, additional alcohol purchased or gratuities. It does however include virtually everything else: airport transfers from Lulea, Sweden, all accommodations, licenses and fishing gear, all meals, guides (1:4 ratio), wine and beer pairings, transportation during the trip (including helicopter rides), tours and tastings, and English translations. Sweden is amazing with the 24 hour daylight, extreme beauty and light, tons of fish, reindeer, and an amazing spontaneous, adventurous spirit that is the result of the endless daylight and the people who live there. Should we hike up a mountain to a small lake full of beautiful brown trout, cook some for dinner, go for a swim and then hike back into the cabin arriving at midnight? Time for bed? No, let's fire up the wood heated sauna and enjoy a cold beer and cool off in the stream. The days are so long that you can do whatever you want without having to worry about the day ending. Our guide Vidar has an amazing, remote cabin on the Tsielekjåhkkå river that was comfortable and beautiful (originally it was the house of hardy Swedish homesteaders that has been updated but keeping with the original style). Two rivers are 5 minutes walk away and they are full of fish. Here we caught mostly Arctic grayling, in great quantity and of considerable size. Nearly all were taken on dry flies and the clear water meant you could sight cast for them. For those willing to sweat a little there is a steep hike of about 2 miles that leads to two small alpine lakes. One is full of brown trout and the other holds arctic char. We fished from a boat and also from shore and quickly caught enough for a delicious dinner. The weather this year was unusually warm, with temps in the mid-eighties and all the water was plenty warm enough to swim. Beautiful video of fly fishing in Swedish Lapland: Not our trip but just an example. https://vimeo.com/227240156 This is our 2nd year doing this trip. Hope you can join us. Contact: Gary Bristow, [masked] for details. Thank you.
