THE PLAN >>> Friday or Saturday: Meet at Kosir's Rapid Rafts campground at the designated group sites. Let them know you are with Nickofthewoods Meetup Group. Hammocks and tents welcome but hammock spots are limited. You can arrive anytime on Friday or Saturday. Just set up camp and hang out with everyone.

Saturday All Day Fun: Guided raft/kayak trips, Live music, raffle, outdoor tent and cookout hosted by Rapids Resort, Peshtigo Race and PARTY ALL NITE LONG - DJ, drink specials and more!

Sunday: We will head out onto the river as a group at 10am for a guided run on the Peshtigo River. The Peshtigo will feature a wide range of river obstacles from rocky shallows to big drops. This is the longest stretch of continuous whitewater in the Midwest!

*Advanced paddlers, The Pesh Fest Race! will begin at 1:00PM on Saturday April 21st. Ask for details if you want to get in on the action!

$60 Fee covers:
• Guided kayaking/rafting on the Peshtigo
• Wet Suits and Booties
• Life vests, helmets, and paddles
• Camping Friday-Sunday
• Photos of everyone paddling the biggest rapids

Nick Gordon, NREMT and WEMT, is owner and lead instructor for NOW Outdoors LLC. He teaches more than a dozen wilderness adventure courses for UW-Milwaukee and holds the highest level of wilderness medical training in the state of WI. In addition, Nick is a certified instructor for the SOLO School of Wilderness Medicine and the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. Since 2009, Nick has been teaching and guiding wilderness adventure, emergency readiness, and survival courses throughout the Great Lakes region and abroad. In addition to running the largest meetup community in Wisconsin, he also volunteers as a Regional Coordinator for the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education.
