MARKETING MASTER CLASS!

It's been said that marketing is the lifeblood of business, and for tomorrow's November INREIA meeting - we'll be diving deep into marketing to discover why that statement is so true.

Whether you run a large business, have a small team or operate as a solopreneur, you have to make sales to survive - and you cannot generate sales without leads.

You may earn your living by working with some of the following:

Cash buyers Motivated sellers Private money lenders Retail buyers REO houses on the MLS Wholesalers ...Or any number of other types of people out there in the real estate industry Unless you've figured out how to grow that ever elusive money tree in your backyard, you need to generate leads with the types mentioned above of people so that you can work on closing business with them - and eventually earn revenue.

The problem is, that most people (especially in real estate investing) chase money and deals, rather than build a system to have deals (leads) come to them.

Without a solid marketing system, you will stay stuck in the hustle. And although the hustle can get you paid, it doesn't help you create a consistent and reliable source of income.

So at next week's meeting, we'll break down what marketing is and how it works on different levels for different types of people and various kinds of businesses.

Among other things, we'll cover the following topics in depth at next week's meeting (bring your notebook!):

How does marketing work, and why do you need it? What are the differences between marketing, advertising, and branding? How do you develop a marketing campaign? What are the time and financial costs of marketing? Where do I start and what software/systems are out there to help me? How do you track marketing and make sure it's working? We'll be doing our "Ask the Board" session again at the next meeting where any and all real estate questions you need to be answered are fair game, as well as we'll be facilitating our regular Buy/Sell & Trade time where you can tell the group about yourself (or your services) or discuss houses you are looking to buy or sell.

Finally, plan to hang around for a little while afterward for our "Meeting After The Meeting". Many folks stay after to network and share deals over a drink/dinner at Broadmoor's lounge, which is just down the hall from where our meeting takes place.
