Ice Breaker and Ultimaker 3 Preview

We're going to get regular 'official group meetings' started up again in November with either a 'crafting' or 'product development' themed guest, but I thought it would be nice to offer an evening meet up with no set agenda planned. Snacks and Beverages will be provided. This event will be hosted at the Printed Solid Showroom and Warehouse at 2850 Ogletown Rd in Newark. Several of the 3D Printers will be running, including a brand new type of printer that has not yet been released to the public, and a number of 3D Printed pieces will be on display.

Update: This event will also be an opportunity to check out the just announced new printer that Ultimaker has been teasing as we're one of the few places in the world that have received an advance unit.

Update part 2: Ultimaker 3! I'm so glad to no longer have to call it 'the new Ultimaker'. That printer will be running along with several others in the shop. The coolest thing about the UM3 is that it's able to run dissolvable support material reliably, which is new for desktop machines. A few parts will be setup and the machine will be running.
