Career Success Conference: Strategies for Communicating Effectively

NAAAP Boston will present the next in our series of Taking Charge of Your Career Success conferences in Boston on July 20. This will be a "can't miss" leadership and career learning opportunity for Asian professionals.

Strategies for Communicating Effectively is the current edition of NAAAP Boston’s “Taking Charge of Your Career Success” conference series.

How effectively do you communicate? It’s one thing to be able to communicate at a basic level for doing your job. But are you always well-understood? Do you communicate well enough to get people's attention? to be influential? The further you advance in your career, the more confident you need to be in your ability to communicate effectively in various situations.

If you’re like many Asian professionals, you have great functional or technical competencies but have not spent as much time learning and practicing your communication skills. The aim of this year’s conference is to help Asian professionals communicate more effectively at work and in life. Participants will be inspired about the importance of communication, and leave with valuable “how-to” skills.

“Managing Difficult Conversations” by Elaine Lin of Triad Consulting, a leading international corporate education and communication consulting firm
