What we're about

NAMI Wake is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide support, education, and advocacy for people with mental illnesses and their family and friends.

We offer separate support groups for both family members and people who have mental illness. There are groups meeting in Raleigh, Knightdale, Wake Forest, Cary, Garner, and Fuquay. Please check the calendar to identify a group suitable for you or send an email.

We also offer classes for both family members of adults with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and other general mental illnesses. To receive more information about a class or enroll in an upcoming program, please contact education@nami-wake.org.

On the fourth Monday of the month, we have a general education meeting with a specific topic of interest to people in our group. Please check the calendar for this month's meeting topic.

Everyone is welcome! All classes and groups are free.
