NAMI of Greater Toledo is a community based, family and consumer focused organization, dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illness through support, education and advocacy

NAMI Connections Recovery Support:
Are you living with a mental illness? Are you feeling frustrated, hopelessness, or confused? Do you need to talk with people who have experienced similar feelings or challenges?
You are not alone. Please join us for our support group led by individuals who are in recovery themselves at NAMI every Monday from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at no cost.
NAMI Creative Connections Support Group Are you living with a mental illness? Are you feeling frustrated, hopelessness, or confused? Do you need to talk with people who have experienced similar feelings or challenges?
Please join us every Wednesday at NAMI from 7:00pm - 8:30pm for our creative support group where we use a form of art such as poetry, music, film, movement to guide our discussions.
Family/Support Group: Do you have a loved one in a mental crisis? Are you feeling overwhelmed, frightened, and/or guilty? Do you need support to help learning ways to cope with these difficulties?
Join our family support group at NAMI every Monday from 7:00pm - 8:30pm as we share our feelings and experiences in living with loved ones suffering from mental illnesses at no cost. It’s great to talk to others who understand our particular situations.
VENT (Young Adults Support Group): Are you between the ages of 18-26 years old and are struggling with sadness, anxiety, or hopelessness?
Come join us for our young adult support group at NAMI every Monday 7:00pm - 8:30pm at no cost. Together we can work through life’s hardships.
Parent Support Group: Do you have a child 18 or younger living with a mental illness and/or behavioral problems? Are you feeling alone, overwhelmed, and/or guilty?
Come join us for our parent support group at NAMI and relate to other parents going through the same difficulties at no cost. Parent Support Group is offered the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:00am – 11:30am.
Hispanic Support Group: A support group for Hispanic adults living with mental illness and/or persons with a mental illness and their family and friends?
The support group is held on the first and third Monday of month - 6:00pm to 7:30pm at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church –728 S. St. Clair, Toledo, Ohio.
African American Support Group: A support group for African American adults living with mental illness and/or persons with a mental illness and their family and friends.
The support group is held on every Tuesday of month - 1:00pm to 2:30pm located in the “Y” building on the corner of Bancroft and Franklin St. (7 East Bancroft St, Toledo OH)
Survivors of Suicide Support Group: A support group for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. This support group is offered the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the NAMI office.
Creative Expressions Art Support Groups:
Are you or someone you know dealing with a mental illness or seeking mental health information/help?
Do you feel better when you are doing something creative?
Is it time to expand your supports and have some fun?
