Cycling is actually very safe but incidents like this remind us that automobile drivers need to be taught to share the road and criminals like this should jailed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nashville bicyclists are holding a Critical Mass in light of a recent hit-and-run that injured local bicyclist, Molly Meinbresse. We want to show support for her and her family while raising awareness of the need for drivers to respect the safety of alternative transportation users.
We will also be demonstrating how bicyclists are responsible for sharing the road safely and respectfully.
:::What To Bring::: Safety Helmet, Lights, Reflectors, etc. Water.
:::The Ride::: Beginning at Nashville Courthouse (where Union Street intersects 2nd Avenue). Ending at 5 Points (East Nashville). Meet at 3pm, Ride at 4!
