West Side Springtime Spruce-Up

Details
I wanted to host an event for novices and those who feel they're a bit "rusty" when it comes to bicycling or basic maintenance. It's part instruction, part social ride.
We'll meet at the parking lot of the Richland Library at 11am. Here's the plan: - tutorial on changing tires, patching flats, and replacing inner tubes. - brief tutorial on checking brakes - ride around the nearby neighborhood (46th - Murphy Road corridor, I guess) or another suggested route for like an hour - regroup at the library parking lot, and pick up coffee & pastries or a light lunch afterward
So if you feel like grabbing a refresher course on bike maintenance and basic repairs, then this is the event for you.
I will have tools. You will need a bicycle (but of course!), and optional replacement inner tube, and optional patch kit.
Anyone else want to assist with demonstrating repairs? Speak up now, eh? :D
If this goes well, I'd like to host another one at Shelby Bottoms a couple of weeks later, where we'll cruise around the greenway and the airstrip.
Thanks for reading!
