• Wednesday Night Slow Ride

    Green Fleet Bicycle Shop

Short and slow. We'll figure out where to go when we get there. Maybe we can explore the detours on the Gulch Greenway. This is not starting the old Wednesday night ride unless someone or somebody want to take over. We can discuss.

Please think of other people and only attend if you are vaccinated.

  • Impromptu Saturday afternoon urban ride

    Frankie Pierce Park

Impromptu Saturday urban ride - about 25 miles around some of Nashville's coolest neighborhoods, downtown and around the west side of town (including along the Gulch, Cumberland River and Richland Creek Greenways). We'll travel at a reasonably moderate pace but we leave no one behind. Sure it will be hot but partly cloudy, and hey - it's Nashville in June!

  • Saturday afternoon urban ride!

    Sevier Park

A leisurely Saturday afternoon bike ride around some of Nashville’s coolest neighborhoods. We'll follow a modified version of the Tour de Nash 25-mile route - just leaving out the part in East Nashville - to take advantage of all those handy pink directional markers freshly painted on the streets.

We’ll leave Sevier Park at 12:30 p.m. and stick mostly to the bike lanes, greenways, and quiet residential streets for about 20 miles at a leisurely pace. Meet in the parking lot close to the mansion in Sevier Park. Please join us!

  • RESCHEDULED - Second Jab Vaccine Super Slow Greenway Bicycle Ride

    John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

THE THREAT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER FORCES US TO RESCHEDULE THIS RIDE. NEW DATE AND TIME.

IT WILL NOW BE HELD ON SUNDAY, MARCH 25 AT 11 AM. WE WILL STILL MEET AT THE FOOT OF THE BRIDGE NEXT TO THE BIKE RACKS

First Annual "Second Jab Greenway Ride" will be short and slow to celebrate those with Covid vaccinations. Only the elect who have received the second jab (one shot J and J will also be allowed) can participate.

The group will ride Davidson Street to the Greenway and Cornelia Fort and return by the same route. We may decide to go to lunch somewhere like I Dream of Weenie or Hunters with outdoor seating. Physical, not social, distancing is required. Group size is limited. E-bike riders will receive preference since they are smarter than other bike riders.

The theme of the ride is "Get Vaccinated Dammit". This is the first ride in a quite a while so it's sort of a test. Beginners welcome since we will be in protected bike lanes and greenways.

Canceled by rain or a fit of personal pique.
